Environment

One part of Twiga’s goal is to work for a sustainable environment. We believe that when working with developmental issues, it is of great importance to not only work with the people and their social problems, but to also see to their surroundings and the environment in which they live.

Twiga wants to emphasize the mutual influence that the humans and the environment have on each other. At the moment, Twiga doesn’t have any ongoing environmental project, however, there is an active work group intrested in working with enviromental issues in Enkokidongoi, Kenya. Moreover, we have previously worked with environmental issues in different ways. We have had both smaller and more long-term projects. You can read more about these projects here.
