Mbale Tigers : Ongoing projects
“A cultural exchange through sports”
Between Twiga, Mbale Tigers, Mariedals IK and Ulricehamns IF. The project is supported by Forum Syd.
The goal is to have a cultural exchange between Swedish and Ugandan youth. The exchange started in March 2008 when Swedish table tennis players from Mariedals IK and Ulricehamns IF visited Uganda. The players from Mbale Tigers will visit Sweden in September 2008. Each visit is three weeks.
“Organization development in Mbale 2008-09”
It is a continuation of former project from 2005 and 2006-07. The project is supported by Forum Syd.
Read Anna Widmark’s paper about "The Tigers from Mbale”. It’s a bachelor degree paper in Peace and Conflict studies at Umeå university.
