Mooni Sports Club : Completed projects

First project together with the MSC is now completed - to build a court for basketball, volleyball and netball. The real aim, however, is to build a platform where young people can meet on equal terms, irrespective religion or economic status. Personal development is in focus but also an opportunity for democratic development. Therefore, we have during three years working to strengthen an organization where young people themselves take the democratic decision of development of the sport. In a country where democracy is on the statute book is significantly greater than among the people, its needed a work from the bottom in order to increase knowledge. Whether young people feel powerless in the community or not they should in all cases have control over 14x26 meter basketball court. Mooni Sports Projects strength is in the people of Mooni. All have been with the nonprofit and built the plan - by supporting our ideas when the power went against us, or by digging with spades.

MSC has now been a stable organization and a substantive basis. 2008 start of a larger project designed to strengthen the club organizational, material and knowledge. The project is supported by Forum Syd.
