Noontoto Women Group : Purpose of the Cooperation
The cooperation between Twiga and Noontoto Women Group has had the purpose of improving the women’s daily lives and of increasing the women’s influences on their lives. The goal with Twiga’s equality work is to establish a long term change where the women are more involved and have the same rights as the men have.
Twiga is still aiming towards these goals, but we are no longer using the same strategy. Because of the problems that have risen in the cooperation with Noontoto Women Group, Twiga is at the moment looking for new ways of working towards our goal together with the inhabitants of Enkokidongoi.
