New Project and New Basket-ball Court

In February 2008 we finally got the go-ahead to start the Forum Syd sponsored contribution (through Swedish SIDA) Mooni Sports Project – Sport as a tool for democratic development. The project will build up a stable association that work for development in the area.

Extra resources are primarily used to see to that girls are given more space within sports. After a slightly slow start there is now full activity in the club. Meetings are to be held, politicians are to be met, papers shall be stamped, services are to be appointed, a new court to be built, new members shall be recruited and registered and much more.
