Unique Exchange Between Youths

Forum Syd has approved a contribution at nearly 250 000 Swedish kronor (41000  USD) for an exchange program between the Ugandan youths in the Mbale Tigers Table Tennis Club (MTTTC) and Mariedals IK in Borås, Sweden.

Four youths, along with two instructors in the Swedish table tennis club will travel to Uganda in March 2008 for the exchange program with Mbale Tigers Table Tennis Club.

For three weeks they will be in Mbale to train, compete and getting to know the Ugandan youths. In the summer of 2008 the Ugandan youths, together with their instructors, will come to Sweden for the same purpose.
