Swedish Youths Printing T-shirts

On Friday the 28th of March the Uganda Group visited the Youth house in Simrishamn, Sweden. Anna and Tina from Twiga informed the youths about the work of the Uganda Group and how they work with development cooperation. The lecture was appreciated and was followed by many questions. Several youths said they thought Twiga´s work and project work seems very interesting.

After the lecture the youths printed T-shirts for youths in Uganda. The youth organizations that participated in the health organizations that was arranged by NGO Forum and the Uganda Group have requested T-shirts that they can wear when informing in the villages. The T-shirts were donated by Korpen and the printing ink by the Youth House. The evening in Simrishamn was an excellent opportunity to show the youths how volunteer work can look like locally in Sweden.

The Uganda Group had an excellent time and hope for similar arrangements in the future!
