Help us with support for Noontoto Primary School

Give your support to two teachers' salaries by becoming an autogiro member! Twiga continues providing the school in Enkokidongoi with our support. Although the school becomes better every year, there are still a great need for our support. The goal is that the school will be self sufficient in the future and coping on their own, but unfortunately we are still far from this goal.
Although the authorities is running the school there are limited resources in Kenya which is not enough for all the educational needs of the country. Today the authorities pay the salaries of only 4 out of the 8 school teachers, and although they are increasing their support each year the school continues to expand with large groups of children every year, so there is still a need of support from other sources for a few more years.
A Dutch Relief organisation, the Catharina Fund, supports 2 teachers and now we would like Twiga to gather enough finances to be able to support two more teachers with their salaries. Veronica has been working at the school since it started and is now working in the nursery. Daisy is teaching slightly older children and has recently undergone a training course for children with special needs. Both teachers are renowned for being appreciated teachers both by children and parents, so it feels very good if Twiga could offer our support which gives these teachers a secure salary the next few years.
The school had hoped to receive support from parents to teachers' salaries, but repeated droughts have led to a reduction in revenue and has made that many are unable to contribute to teachers' salaries. Today the parents pay the school watchman and school staff´s salaries.
