Oloiliai Girls Student Foundation

Oloililai Girls Student Foundation is a Twiga project. It got its name from our partner organisation in Enkokidongoi Kenya. Oloililai means "to stand on someone´s shoulders", in Olmaa, the language spoken by the Maasai. The project is often referred to as simply "the girls' foundation".

The main objective of this co-operation is to promote women's rights in general and Maasai girls right to education in particular. This is mainly done through sponsorship of school fees in Secondary School for bright Maasai girls from Enkokidongoi area. In addition to this, we also work with information spreading and lobbying on women´s rights, both in Kenya and in Sweden.
