Twiga works actively in Sweden in many different ways through board work, work groups, fund-raising, spreading of information, Twigas website and arrangement of activities. You can read more about what Twiga does in Sweden here.

Board work: The board meets regularly every 6th weeh for a board meeting where we discuss the organisation and take up different requests from the work groups. The board also have study circles where we go through different areas such as economy.

Work groups: Twigas work groups work actively in Sweden in many ways. Planning and fund-raising for projects as well as keeping contact with cooperation partners is a few examples.

Fund-raising: Twiga arranges for fund-raising of different kinds such as flee markets and selling of Fair Trade products to raise money for the organisation.

Spreading information: Twiga takes part in different seminars such as Forum Syd to spread information about the organisation and our cooperation partners. Twigas members Ronnie Kronblad, Stefan Laupa and Magnus Laupa have also had an exhibition "Happy Africa" that has toured in Sweden at schools. Twigas website: The website helps to spread information about Twiga and our cooperation partners both in Sweden, among the general public as well as our members, and overseas thanks to that the website is bilingual. We also hope that more of our members with help of regular information about Twiga can feel that they have a bigger opportunity to take part actively in the organisation.

Activities: Twiga arranges activities such as year meetings and parties.
